The Langley Whale Center gives a shoreline-watching day useful context even when no whales appear. Orca Network’s public center covers orcas, gray whales, humpbacks, and other Salish Sea marine mammals through exhibits, real specimens, current sighting information, and local education.
Practical details
The center is at 105 Anthes Avenue in Langley, within the walkable village. Admission is free; donations support the nonprofit. The official site currently lists Wednesday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., while noting that hours vary by season. Recheck before a dedicated trip.
